Stayed up late (too late) reading this eight issue volume.  It’s easy for me to forget about good Hellboy comics are.  They’re sorta infrequent and Hellboy is almost eclipsed by the giant story over in B.P.R.D… but The Wild Hunt rockets Red back to the top.  I mean, come on.  Touching on something as big as the [CENSORED] Legend?  Added bonus that I recently read Matt Wagner’s Madame Xanadu v1 and so the name Nimue actually meant something to me.  Hey, just because I know who King [CENSORED] is, doesn’t mean I know the story.

Anyway, the art is superb and the story is just, wow.  Readers who like a little fairy tale in their fiction should not miss Hellboy.  Start at the beginning, it’s all good!
